Whoever said cross country riders needed a hardtail to get the job done efficiently never took a ride on the dual suspension Epic. With advanced FlowControl Brain suspension and a jet setting carbon frame, the Epic is the number one machine for competitive XC racers and riders, like World Championship racer Christoph Sauser, who want a lightweight and exceedingly efficient mountain bike that’s never short on speed or agility.
Positioning
With a XC World Championship to its name and low complete bike weights, the Epic is the lightest, most efficient and fastest performance cross-country bike available. An integrated approach to the design of all its critical components, along with an enhanced AFR inertia rear shock and Specialized/Fox Shox Mini Brain® damper, will no doubt make a full suspension convert out of any competition-hungry rider.
